N1 The decrease in interest in shares of the Company as indicated in
the SDI notices of Bornwise Investments Limited and Cheung Wo Sin
both dated 17 December 2002 was due to a partial enforcement of the
share mortgage dated 15 October 2002 referred to in their respective
SDI notices.
N2 3,515,625 options at the exercise price of HK$7.18 (adjusted by the
rights issue with effect from 17 September, 2002 as disclosed in the
Company's prospectus dated 28 August, 2002) were surrendered on
19 December, 2002.
