NOTES:
N1 On or around 30 June 19998, Mr. Yu Kam Ching Peter ("Mr.
Yu") pledged the 34,999,432 shares in the name of Mascot
Overseas Enterprises Ltd. to a Mr. Eugene Chuang ("Mr.
Chuang"). As part of the arrangements associated with the
pledge, Mr. Yu authorised Mr. Chuang to use these shares as
security in relation to a margin account and held with
Internationale Nederlanden Bank NV ("ING"). On or around
4 June 1999, Mr. Chuang informed Mr. Yu that ING had sold
these shares in the context of a margin call by ING.
N2 Hoodscott Limited has ceased to be interested in the
181,038,818 shares in Hanny Holdings Limited subsequent to
its transfer of interests in Cobbleford Limited, which is
interested in the said 181,038,818 shares in Hanny Holdings
Limited, on 11/06/99.
N3 These shares were charged by Kong Tai International
Holdings Company Limited to Quest Securities Limited as
security for a loan pursuant to a deed of shares mortgage
dated 4 January 1999.
